Vidal's mobility was limited at the World Cup by a knee injury. Manchester United have been given the go ahead to sign Arturo Vidal after they checked his medical records with Chilean team doctors.
Reports this weekend claimed United officials requested to see Vidal's records as they do their due diligence ahead of a £35m offer to Juventus. The Old Trafford club wanted to make sure the Chilean international has fully recovered from a knee injury that required surgery in May.
All good
And Italian newspaper Corriere Dello Sport are now reporting that United did indeed take a look at the documents and were pleased by what they discovered.
Vidal was given a clean bill of health and United will now press on with a £35m bid for the central midfielder.

Juventus face a difficult summer with two of their top players - Vidal and midfield partner Paul Pogba - wanted by some of Europe's biggest clubs.
The Italian giants have reportedly begun sounding out replacements, with Tottenham's Paulinho and Chelsea's Ramires among the contenders.
Nani swap deal?
Much will depend on how much they are able to extract for Vidal, and the Italian reports claim they may settle for a player-plus-cash deal from United to bolster their squad.
Portuguese winger Nani would be the most likely addition to the transfer, with Louis Van Gaal ready to cut ties once he takes over as United boss on Monday morning.
