Sami Khedira may have already agreed Chelsea transfer

Will Chelsea land Khedira?.

There are suspicions that Real Madrid superstar Sami Khedira has already agreed to join Chelsea in the summer of 2015, reports The Daily Star.

The report has suggested that Khedira, who has been a £24 million summer target for Arsenal, is set to be reunited with his former boss Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge next year.

Arsenal blow

The news will be a major blow for Arsenal, as manager Arsene Wenger was seemingly ready to bring the World Cup winning star to north London in this window. It appears that the Gunners boss wants to add a tough tackling midfielder to his side, as they go in search of Premier League glory next term.

It appears, though, that Khedira won't make a switch to Arsenal, but will instead join their rivals next summer. Arsenal fans will be hoping that Wenger is on the lookout for an alternative, with the likes of Jack Wilshere, Thomas Rosicky and Co. currently competing for places in the first-team.

Chelsea talent

Chelsea, on the other hand, already have a number of top stars fighting it out for a place in Mourinho's side. The club have already secured the signature of Spanish superstar Cesc Fabregas, whilst Nemanja Matic was also signed in the winter window.

Khedira would offer Mourinho's side another option, and would prove a major coup on a free transfer. For now, though, the Blues will be concentrating on the season ahead as Mourinho and Co. look to land silverware next term.
