Falcao is still waiting international clearance. (©GettyImages). Manchester United have made special arrangements in an attempt to fast track Radamel Falcao's work permit application, reports The Daily Telegraph.
The Colombian striker joined Manchester United in a deadline day loan move but has yet to receive international clearance to represent the club. Falcao must first obtain a working visa before he is able to make his debut.
Fast-track
The process usually takes weeks, but Louis van Gaal has told Manchester United officials to navigate through the red tape in order to make sure Falcao is available for selection after the international break. The Red Devils take on QPR on September 14 and will be hoping to seal their first Premier League win of the season.

Manchester United have made arrangements with the British Consulate in Miami but officials are working tirelessly to speed up the process. Falcao is set to fly to Florida and will spend four days undergoing the required formalities.
Potential problem
Falcao surpasses the requirements needed to obtain a work permit meaning obtaining one is a mere formality. However, he is still required to go through exactly the same process as any other player.
Manchester United are wary of delays to the work permit after struggling to get Marcos Rojo cleared thus far. Rojo joined from Sporting Lisbon two weeks ago but has yet to receive clearance to officially complete the transfer.
Manchester United believe processing the papers in Miami will allow Falcao's application to be processed quicker and that the 28-year-old can report to training at Carrington early next week.
Transfer completed
Only then can the transfer be truly completed. Manchester United have already signed off on the deal with AS Monaco that will see Falcao lent to the Old Trafford outfit for the remainder of the season.
Van Gaal has the option to make the deal permanent next summer, but it is believed the Colombian has been signed as a temporary replacement to the injured Robin van Persie.
Falcao will wear the No.9 shirt and will reportedly be paid £265,000-a-week during his stay in Manchester. The total cost of the deal, including a £6 million loan fee, totals out at over £20 million.
Daley Blind also joined Manchester United on deadline day from Ajax in a £14 million deal.
