Sharapova back training after Wimbledon woe (©GettyImages). Maria Sharapova has tweeted pictures of her return to training, and for the first time in a while - fans of Sachin Tendulkar haven't dominated the replies section with abuse.
The Russian beauty was quick to fly away on holiday to Mexico with fellow tennis boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov once their Wimbledon commitments were done and dusted, but now the former world No.1 has hit the gym ahead of the North American hard court season.
Tendulkar abuse
It appears the frequent tweeter will be free to continue with her regular postings without fear of more abuse.
The five-time major winner incurred the full wrath of Indian cricket fans during the Championships after she revealed in an interview that she wasn't aware of who Sachin Tendulkar was.
Tendulkar, who has now retired from the sport, had been one of many sporting stars to take their place in the Royal Box during the two week Grand Slam. Stars such as David Beckham and Sir Bradley Wiggins were also spotted on Centre Court.
Little Master who?
However, Sharapova, despite knowing of former England footballer Beckham, drew a blank expression when a reporter asked her if she had heard of the 'little master' after he watched her defeat against German player Angelique Kerber.

The legendary status benefited to Tendulkar in India as the leading-ever run scorer in Test cricket history means that fans do not take kindly to perceived disrespect of their hero. His last ever match drew a sell-out stadium full of emotional and adoring supporters who watched the former captain for the last time.
Needless to say that reaction wasn't positive towards Sharapova. A twitter trend of 'who is Maria Sharapova' went worldwide and the 27-year-old received a number of tweets from angry fans.
Wimbledon woe
It wouldn't have been the reaction she needed after failing to repeat her SW19 win from 10 years ago, despite her perfect preparation in which she conquered the French Open. Petra Kvitova went on to win the ladies' draw for the second time (the first coming against Sharapova in the 2011 final).
The world no.6 stuck around in London to watch Dimitrov shock defending mens champion Andy Murray in the quarter-finals, but the 23-year-old Bulgarian couldn't reached his maiden Grand Slam final as eventual winner Novak Djokovic took the spoils in their last four encounter.
The tennis couple will hope for better luck at the US Open which starts in late August. Sharapova - by the look of her update - is clearly keen to get in tip-top condition in order to copy her Flushing Meadows win from 2006. Dimitrov, meanwhile, will hope to continue his ascent up the rankings, but he has never won a match on the hard courts and that run must change this year.
