Having just won the World Cup, Khedira is off celebrating a well-deserved holiday, but if the club shop is anything to go by, it appears he will be busy finding a new job in the near future.
Arsenal move imminent?
Reports in Spain seem adamant that the German international that the German international is on his way to Arsenal. Sport claimed on Monday that a deal was hours away - how many hours is anyone's guess - while Marca say Real Madrid and Arsenal have agreed a transfer fee.
Other reports claim that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is all but ready to pull out of the potential deal after Khedira requested a huge salary of £150,000-a-week. Such a wage would make him the club's highest ever earner above both Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez on £130,000-a-week.

Marca say that Khedira is happy to take home £105,000-a-week, but also claim that the fee is after tax, meaning Arsenal would be paying him a gross salary of £205,000-a-week. It is more likely that Spanish newspapers aren't quite up to date with the high rate of tax in England, so take that with a pinch of salt.
Real get shirty
Selling Khedira makes plenty of sense to Real Madrid, who are hoping to agree a deal to sign Toni Kroos from Bayern Munich in the coming days. Khedira, who suffered a serious knee injury last season, would be deemed surplus to requirements under such circumstances, opening the door to an Arsenal move.
Having just launched a new kit for the new season, Real Madrid are keen to drive sales and have a selection of pre-printed shirts, as the picture above shows. However, the empty space where Khedira shirt would appear seems to suggest the club staff have been told to hold off printing shirts while the German international's future remains unclear.
It is understandable. If Khedira does leave, the shirts would be worthless so why take the risk? Maybe to avoid becoming the subject of a viral story, perhaps? Who knows.
Chelsea competition
It appears that even if the Arsenal deal falls through, Chelsea may still offer Khedira an escape route. Jose Mourinho holds a close relationship with the player and is willing to pay the 27-year-old whatever he wants.
However, Arsenal remain in pole position and, if reports in Spain are to be believed, a deal is close enough to warrant the removal of his shirts from the club shop. Arsenal fans should remain cautious though. The photo could be photoshopped or a cheeky shopper could have just put a plain shirt in front of the huge stock of Khedira shirts.
