Murray is progressing through the China Open (©GettyImages). Andy Murray is probably used to having young tennis players wanting to replicate his successes on-court, but having star names wanting to play the role of the former world no.3 is likely to be an alien concept.
That's right, big-names from the sporting and entertainment world are queueing up to appear in the fun film.
'Happy' singer Pharrell Williams and hot-head television chef Gordon Ramsay, according to the RadioTimes, are auditioning against each other to play the role of Murray in next month's screening.
Charity
The event is in aid of charity as part of Channel 4's new telethon for 'Standing Up To Cancer'. The evening will hope to raise money for the important cause.
Aside from Ramsay and Pharrell, Britney Spears could star as Murray's girlfriend Kim Sears. Director Richard Ayoade, from comedy show the 'IT Crowd', is set to decide the cast shortly.
The high-profile names don't stop there either. New Chelsea signing Cesc Fabregas, who has made a blistering start to the Premier League season, is due to feature alongside Rory McIlroy. The world's no.1 golfer, fresh from helping Europe to win the Ryder Cup, will also play his part in the fight against cancer.

Big names
We don't know too much about the storylines of the sketch, but a spokesman for Channel 4 has admitted excitement concerning all the interest: "It is astonishing that we got all these massive names for a film which really works. It's hilarious."
If any jokes are made at Murray's expense in the spoof, the 27-year-old is likely to react a lot better than he might have done last week. Things are finally looking up for the Briton.
After suffering a fierce backlash to his public pro-Scottish independence stance, Murray also faced the prospect of not reaching the ATP World Tour Finals at London's O2 Arena after dropping out of the world's top ten.
Resurgance
However, after first title in 15 months at the Shenzhen Open, followed by a strong showing at the China Open, Murray suddenly finds himself back in contention for a spot at the season-ending event.
More decent performances in the Shanghai and Paris Masters should be enough to secure the two-time Grand Slam's participation alongside the already-qualified likes of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.
The only blotch at the moment s his mother Judy's appearance on BBC dancing show 'Strictly Come Dancing'. Murray was bemused when she signed up and Judy struggled in the first live show with dance partner Anton Du Beke. The Fed Cup captain could be voted off this weekend.
