Tottenham fans __have been quick to criticise midfielder Moussa Sissoko after his poor performance against Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday night.
The France international was particularly awful in a drab showing from Spurs as they lost 1-0 to the Bundesliga side, leaving their hopes of qualification to the Champions League last-16 in doubt.
Tottenham signed him from Newcastle United for £30 million last summer, beating Everton to his signature in the last minutes of the transfer window.
However, the north Londoners may now be ruing that decision, and supporters are calling on chairman Daniel Levy to __have a look for the 27-year-old’s receipt in the hope that the Magpies will take him back.
We’re not sure if Rafa Benitez has a returns policy…
