Adnan Januzaj could make loan move in January

Manchester United youngster Adnan Januzaj could leave the club on loan in January with two Serie A teams keen on signing him.

The Belgium international has had to settle for a place on the bench under Louis van Gaal, as the Dutchman sets his side up in a 3-5-2 formation. That leaves Januzaj out of the picture.

And the arrival of Angel Di Maria for £60m from Real Madrid just prior to the close of the transfer window pushed the talented Januzaj further down the pecking order.

Januzaj a bright prospect

He was one of the bright spots in an otherwise disappointing season under David Moyes last term, but according to the Metro Fiorentina and Juventus are both now reportedly keen to offer him the chance to play first-team football away from Old Trafford.

The lack of Champions League football at Manchester United this season means that van Gaal is not under too much pressure to rotate his squad. That means first-team opportunities will be limited for the £40m-rated Januzaj as long as Van Gaal perseveres with a winger-less formation.

The teenager scored a brilliant hat-trick for the United under-21 side earlier this week, and has been one of the first players off the bench for van Gaal.

But the chance to link up with Patrice Evra at Serie A champions Juventus may be difficult to ignore for Januzaj, especially if they can promise regular minutes.

He would almost certainly get that at Fiorentina, who took Anderson from United last term, but Juve boast Champions League football and offer Januzaj the better chance to win a title.
