Lampard scored against his former club (©GettyImages). Chelsea fan Fahad Musanan died after Frank Lampard struck a late equaliser for Manchester City against his former club yesterday afternoon, reports the Daily Star.
The 24-year-old - a professional footballer in the Ugandan Premier League - was watching the crunch Premier League clash yesterday and fainted as Lampard struck home City's equalising goal with five minutes remaining.

Passionate Chelsea fan
Musanan was pronounced dead as he arrived at Bombo Military Hospital, and his friend Gerald Bagoole told Kawowo news agency: "He has been a passionate fan of Chelsea and would do anything for the club. We trained with him on Sunday morning, had lunch together."
The terrible incident was recognised by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations as they released a statement after the player's death.
The statement read: “Fufa is in shock after receiving news about the sudden death of Simba FC player Musana Fahad in Bombo this evening.
“The body is currently at the Bombo Barracks Hospital. Burial arrangements will be communicated later.”
Result
Lampard's goal was without a doubt the major talking point at the Etihad yesterday as the points were shared between two of the top teams in England's elite division. It was Blues winger Andre Schurrle, however, who handed Jose Mourinho's side the lead after Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta was sent off following a collision with Spanish international Diego Costa.
Chelsea were on course to claim all three points at the Etihad for the second season running, but Lampard's first goal on his home debut for the club helped the Sky Blues secure a key point.
Mourinho's side remain top of the Premier League with 13 points from their opening five games, whilst City sit in sixth place with eight points from their fixtures.
Lampard Legacy
Despite his goal against Chelsea yesterday, Lampard still remains a Chelsea legend following his 211 goals for the club in 648 appearances.
The former England international - who is on loan at City from New York FC - was given a standing ovation by both sets of fans at full-time yesterday and was unable to hide his emotion at the end of the game.
The veteran may well have stayed at Chelsea had Mourinho offered him a new deal with the club, but Blues fans will now just have to remember the good times he gave them over many years.
