Jose Mourinho has confirmed that he would like to manage Real Madrid again (©GettyImages). Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has risked concerning the Blues’ fans and owner Roman Abramovich after revealing that he would relish to the chance to coach Real Madrid again in the future.
Speaking to Portuguese TV station TVI, Mourinho confirmed that he wouldn’t hesitate to say yes to a return to the Bernabeu, despite the ill-fated manner in which his tenure with the Spanish giants ended.
Mourinho fell out with almost everybody at Real Madrid - president Florentino Perez, his own players and the supporters - in the final months of his last campaign with Los Blancos, which ended without yielding a single trophy.
But this has not put off the revered coach, who re-joined Chelsea last summer, from making a shock return to Real Madrid in the future.
Real Madrid still interests Mourinho
When asked whether he would return, Mourinho replied: "Yes, definitely. It was an experience as a man and as a coach. I would repeat again without thinking twice."
He did, however, admit that he would do things different the second time around.
“If a coach can think and self-criticise, as I do, then the decisions are made that will not always be the same,” Mourinho added. “Not only at Real Madrid but with all clubs."

Mourinho looking to the future
Mourinho refused to divulge information about the specific problems he faced with various players inside the Real Madrid dressing room during his three-year spell at the Bernabeu, confirming that he agreed to leave the club at the end of the 2012-13 campaign for the good of his career.
"You will not hear me talk about what happened in the past, whether it be positive or negative,” the Portuguese continued. “I left Real Madrid with a fantastic relationship with the president, the executive director and the entire club after making a decision which was best for my career.
“I am a happy man, I am going to matches and training with great joy and I am not a person who likes to be talking about the past."
Mourinho contracted to Chelsea until 2017
Mourinho is contracted to Chelsea until 2017, after penning a four-year deal with the west London outfit last summer, and may be keeping his options open in case he fails to land any silverware this season.
He will be acutely aware that failure to deliver a major trophy at the end of this season could lead to his departure at the end of the campaign should Abramovich see fit to wield the axe.
Perez, however, is unlikely to turn to Mourinho - even if he decides to sack Carlo Ancelotti later this season.
The Italian coach, who guided Los Blancos to their tenth European Cup triumph in May, is already under pressure after losing two of his opening three La Liga matches this season - Real Madrid’s worst start to a league campaign for nine years.
