Arsenal star Hector Bellerin has fast become a fan favourite as a result of his lung-busting performances for the Gunners since his first-team breakthrough in 2014/15.
However, the 21-year-old’s off-field antics __have also contributed towards his burgeoning popularity among Gooners at the Emirates.
As well as having a strong presence across all social media platforms, Bellerin actually comes across like he might be enjoying playing this beautiful game we call football – take note, Harry Kane.
And on Thursday, ahead of the Gunners’ trip to Sunderland, the Spaniard liked a post on Twitter mocking Jose Mourinho after his recent struggles at Manchester United.
Alongside an image of Arsenal’s manager looking rather smug, the message read: ‘FACT: Arsene Wenger has won the same amount of games in his last 8 matches…as Jose Mourinho has in his last 41.’
There are few things Arsenal supporters enjoy more than mocking their great Premier League rivals, who __have been a thorn in their side down the years, so they’ll no doubt love this from the full-back.
Bellerin is a fan on the pitch which explains why Wenger is desperate to tie him down with a new deal in north London in an attempt to fend off the likes of Barcelona and Manchester City.
