Arsene Wenger has hinted the vultures are beginning to circle, with a positive resolution to contract negotiations involving Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez no closer to fruition.
The Arsenal boss admitted earlier this week that he would ‘need a good bank’ in order to satisfy Ozil’s wage demands, while former Barcelona forward Sanchez is also yet to commit his peak years to the north London club.

Wenger admits he feels a level of empathy for players who are attempting to maximise their earnings but acknowledged making a breakthrough with his two star players is going to be tough, suggesting they are coveted elsewhere.
‘It was always difficult. What has changed is the numbers but it was always difficult to keep the good players because they are wanted by other clubs,’ said Wenger.
‘Players want to get the maximum as they only __have 10 years playing at the top level.’
