As soon as umpire raised his finger to give Jos Buttler out during the second ODI, Bangladesh players went wild in celebrations. So wild that they celebrated the wicket by running into Buttler, who was on his way back to the pavillion. This was a big moment in the game as Buttler, alongwith Jonny Bairstow, was taking his team towards a victory after a collapse.

The heat of the moment got to the players and Mahmudullah and Buttler had a heated argument with both charging towards each other. Both on-field umpires had to intervene to prevent any further thing to happen. Buttler made his way back to the pavillion.

But Bangladesh did not stop there. There was another altercation at the post-match handshakes between Tamim Iqbal and Ben Stokes. Then, Shakib-al-Hasan restored order before the players headed back to their respective dressing rooms.

Bangladesh were clearly ecstatic after their win over England as they had levelled the three-match ODI series and now have a chance to win the series. If they do so, they will continue to be unbeaten in home ODI series since 2014.

Buttler later clarified about the incident during post-match. “I was just disappointed in the way they celebrated, it’s an emotional game,” Buttler said. “It’s been tough, we had high hopes of winning and going 2-0.”

England should be disappointed with the loss. After their thrilling win, they should __have closed the series in Mirpur but now, both teams will fight for the series in the third and final ODI in Chittagong.
