Manchester United star mocked for wearing jelly shoes to training

A word of warning to any Manchester United player who’s thinking of wearing jelly shoes – they’ll end up on the ceiling in the dressing room.

Summer signing Eric Bailly was the brave man who donned a pair to training following the goalless draw against Liverpool on Monday evening.

Ashley Young was the first to reveal the Ivory Coast international’s questionable choice of footwear on Instagram, although he refrained from naming the defender, leaving United fans to guess the player.

Everyone from Wayne Rooney to Zlatan Ibrahimovic were named, but the popular guesses were for Memphis Depay, Paul Pogba and Bailly.

Juan Mata was the man who finally outed Bailly as the culprit.
