UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping has dismissed claims he is coding his fans by insisting he is in negotiations with Georges St-Pierre over a potential fight.
Bipsing took to Twitter on Tuesday night to reveal he and the UFC are in talks with GSP’s camp after the division champion successfully defended his belt for the first time against Dan Henderson earlier this month.

The Brit called out GSP after his victory over Henderson in Manchester and confirmed to his followers that he was hopeful a fight could be agreed.
@GeorgesStPierre, we all want more money. But let's go,sign the papers.Give the people of Toronto what they want, be a hero! Let's go champ!

GSP is currently locked in a battle with the UFC after announcing he was canceling his contract with them, something the company has denied.
It was thought that St-Pierre could return to the octagon for the UFC 206 event which is set to be held in Toronto on December 10.
Bisping says he has verbally agreed a clash in Toronto with the former welterweight champion.
@moneyismatt @daStockguy23 I verbally agreed

@Odonovanb21 @GeorgesStPierre lol. Scoring publicity points??? Dana offered me the fight.

EPSN then reportedly received the following reply from White when asked if Bisping vs St-Pierre was on the cards.
Text from @danawhite: There is no Bisping vs. GSP fight in Toronto. I know Mike wants it, but it's not happening.

But Bisping has brushed this comment aside insisting the fight has been offered as he continued to reply to tweets.
@mmamania @danawhite @GeorgesStPierre your story is incorrect. No surprise there.

@shaniefla @BrianFitz_ @GeorgesStPierre @danawhite I repeat, "it was offered"
— michael (@bisping) October 26, 2016
While it is unclear whether GSP will return to the octagon anytime soon, it is certain that Bisping will conduct his second title defence at some stage.
The 37-year-old last fought on October 8 with UFC 206 set to go ahead in December with currently six Canadian fighters on the bill including John Makdessi, Olivier Aubin-Mercier and Valerie Letourneau.
