Andy Murray believes his preparation for the ATP World Tour Finals will stand him in good stead for the event.
The Brit spent a lot of the build-up to last year’s event playing on clay in the Davis Cup but Britain did not reach the final as they did in 2015.

The 29-year-old crashed out at the Round Robin stage of last year’s tournament in London but he is now confident he will perform to his best this year.
‘There are a couple of years I wish I could __have done a little better here,’ Murray admitted.
‘Last year I prepared a lot on clay.
‘This year I did well at Paris.
‘I feel a little bit more confident. I’m hitting the balls well. I feel good.’

Murray revealed he’d thoroughly enjoyed his 2016, which has seen him rise to the very top of men’s tennis.
‘This has been my best year,’ he smiled.
‘Even the matches I’ve lost __have been really close.
‘Away from the court it’s been by far the best year I’ve had. I’ve really enjoyed being a parent.
‘It feels good [being No. 1], obviously. I don’t feel much different this week to the week before, though.’
