Manchester United star Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored in 88th minute to earn a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Wednesday evening.

The Red Devils were hoping to build on their 1-0 victory over Tottenham at the weekend and the signs were positive as Paul Pogba‘s bundled home the opener in the dying moments of the first-half.

Jose Mourinho, though, was lucky to still __have eleven players on the field after Marcos Rojo put in a two-footed tackle on Wilfried Zaha – the Argentinian defender only received a booking for the reckless challenge.

Pogba and a rejuvenated Wayne Rooney continued to be a threat after the break but James McArthur scored for the home side in the 66th minute to bring the sides level following a brilliant piece of skill from Damien Delaney.

The match looked to be heading for a draw but Pogba, who was a menace throughout, found Ibrahimovic beautifully and the veteran striker finished well.

Ibrahimovic’s goal, which was his 14th in all competitions so far this season, meant United returned to Manchester will three crucial points.
