Manchester United reportedly look set to miss out on re-signing club legend Patrice Evra as he closes in on a surprise transfer to Crystal Palace.

The French left-back spent eight years at Old Trafford earlier in his career, winning five Premier League titles and the Champions League among another major honours.

Now with Juventus, Evra had been linked with a move this January due to falling down the pecking order in Turin, with Juve seemingly set to swoop for Arsenal target Sead Kolasinac.

Despite some hopes that United might bring the 35-year-old back in an emotional deal, it now seems he’s heading to Selhurst Park, according to Sky Sport Italia.
