Ben Stokes insists he is excited to get his first taste of the Indian Premier League after being signed by the Rising Pune Supergiants.
England’s Test vice-captain was bought for 14.5 crore (£1.7million) in Monday morning’s auction to become the highest-paid foreign player in IPL history.

‘Really excited to be joining up with the Pune Supergiants in the IPL this year,’ Stokes said on social media.
‘Always looks an amazing competition and I can’t wait for the experience.’
