West Brom manager Tony Pulis has admitted he’s ready to consider trying again to sign Chelsea defender John Terry in the summer transfer window.

Is this really Wenger's LOWEST point? 5 more times the Arsenal boss looked doomed

The former England captain, 36, is set to be a free agent when this season comes to a close, with another year at Stamford Bridge looking highly unlikely.

Terry has had to accept a reduced role at Chelsea this season, with Antonio Conte preferring a back three of Gary Cahill, David Luiz and Cesar Azpilicueta.

West Brom were interested in Terry in the January transfer window but failed to lure him to the Hawthorns, though that has not put Pulis off moving for him again.

‘In January he wanted to stay with Chelsea,’ the Baggies boss explained.

‘He wanted to stay there and be part of going out as a champion. I’m not sure how many times he’s won it with them but John wanted to stay there.

‘If he becomes available in the summer, we’ll sit down and __have a little think about what we’ve got and what we haven’t got and we’ll take it from there.

‘Whether the situation changes, whether other people are involved or whether he signs another contract at Chelsea, we’ll __have to wait and see.’
