On the PGA tour Robert Streb won the McGladrey Classic after a three way play off against Will MacKenezie and Brendon De Jonge. Streb birdied the second extra hole to claim his first PGA title and a winner's cheque for over $1m.

Thorbjorn Olesen won his second European tour event at the ISPS Handa Perth International. The Dane held off a final day charge by Victor Dubuisson to win by three strokes. There was also reason to celebrate for David Drysdale, Matthew Nixon and Anthony Wall who all secured their tour cards for next year in the final event of the European tour season. Lee Anne Pace won the weather effected Blue Bay LPGA in China. The tournament was reduced to 54 holes and had to be finished this morning due to persistent rain. It was Pace's 10th career title but her first on the LPGA tour.

Elsewhere in China, the stars were out in force for the Mission Hills World Celebrity Pro-
Am. Jessica Alba and Nicole Kidman were among a number of famous faces to tee it up alongside the likes of Ian Poulter, Suzann Pettersen and Gary Playa.

Justin Rose won the individual prize with Chinese actor Sun Nan picking up the celebrity title.
