Ryan Giggs reveals he spoke to Swansea but their 'ambitions didn't really match mine' https://t.co/Vvva4O50oJ

Former Manchester United star Ryan Giggs has appeared to suggest he didn’t want the Swansea City job after being recently linked with the manager’s job at the Liberty Stadium.
The Welshman confirms he was interviewed for the position, though previous reports suggest he was turned down by the club, who instead moved for the vastly more experienced Bob Bradley, much to Robbie Savage’s definitely-not-xenophobia-motivated dismay and disbelief.
Giggs is yet to manage full time despite a four-game stint as caretaker boss of Manchester United at the end of the 2013/14 season, but didn’t seem keen on the project on offer at Swansea.

‘I met with them (Swansea) a couple of times,’ he said.
‘In the end there was just mixed messages really from the football side and the ownership side of the club.
‘I just felt that their ambitions didn’t really match mine.’
