Marin Cilic guided Croatia to a straight-sets victory against Juan Martin Del Potro’s Argentina in what could prove to be a crucial Davis Cup match.
Both countries No. 1s stepped in to play the clash, with Cilic partnering Ivan Dodig and Del Potro joining Leonardo Mayer on the other side of the net.

Del Potro and Cilic had both won their opening singles against Ivo Karlovic and Federico Delbonis respectively but it’s well and truly advantage Croatia after the doubles result.
Cilic and Del Potro are due to face each other at 1pm in a must-win rubber for the Argentine.
Should Del Potro win, Karlovic and Delbonis will fight it out for the final rubber, with the winner securing the Davis Cup crown.
