Under-fire Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius didn’t appear particularly pleased to be dropped by Jurgen Klopp for Wednesday’s clash against Middlesbrough.

The German has come in for much criticism for his recent performances for the Reds, with mistakes against Bournemouth and West Ham costing Klopp’s side dearly.

Klopp said it was an ‘easy decision’ to leave out Karius, and Liverpool fans were quick to notice the stopper’s expression in the dug-out when casting his eye over his manager.
