Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney will __have impressed Jose Mourinho with his performance on the pitch in a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.
However, Rooney was spotted venting his anger on the bench moments after the Special One chose to bring him off towards the end of the match at Selhurst Park.
Crystal Palace 1-2 Man Utd player ratings: Pogba on fire but Rojo remains a liabilityThe 31-year-old was brought off for Marcus Rashford in the 80th minute – however, it’s believed Rooney was unhappy with a number of referee Craig Pawson’s decisions as the game neared it’s end.
Unfortunately for Wayne, the United boss was sat directly in front of him during his histrionics and had a face like thunder as he turned back towards the cameras.
Considering the England forward has only recently won his place back in Mourinho’s starting XI it probably wasn’t the wisest thing to do.
