Angelique Kerber, Svetlana Kuznetsova, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova and Coco Vandeweghe are through to the last-16 of the Australian Open after winning their third-round matches.
World No. 1 swept through her third round match against Krystina Pliskova, winning 6-0 6-4 on Rod Laver.
Russian eighth seed Kuznetsova had to work much harder against former world No. 1 Jelena Jankovic, winning 6-4 5-7 9-7 in a match that lasted more than three and a half hours.

There was an equally close battle between Vandeweghe and Eugenie Bouchard on Rod Laver, with the American edging past her Canadian opponent.
Vandeweghe triumphed 6-4 3-6 7-5 and will now face Kerber on Sunday.
