Luis Enrique’s announcement that he will leave Barcelona at the end of the season has caused quite a wave of excitement among Arsenal fans.

Enrique confirmed he would step down as manager of the Catalan giants after a 6-1 thumping of Sporting Gijon, which will come as little surprise to many observers.

Barcelona are on the brink of a Champions League exit after a humiliating 4-0 first-leg defeat to Paris Saint-Germain and they are struggling to retain their La Liga title amid competition from Real Madrid.

Enrique has been linked with a move to Arsenal, with Arsene Wenger’s future unclear, but it seems Gooners are more concerned with their own manager’s movements.

And they are certain Wenger will be replacing Enrique at the Camp Nou!
